PROTODEV CAME TO BE

  • 1993-1994

    The company all started with a 5th-grader who studied & worked in a foreign country as a Computer Technician and a self-taught programmer with the help of his father’s “take-home” books from work. At that time, this child was forming the skills that made him eventually the founder of the company.

  • 1995-1999

    He did Graphics Designing & Desktop Publishing works; Continued PC Troubleshooting services and marketed his services door-to-door. Taught Microsoft Office apps to adults who enrolled for training at a computer shop where he was “employed”; Accepted small programming projects.

  • 2000

    Was accepted at MIT (Mapua Institute of Technology) and was hired as a Research Associate and became one of the pioneers who would help develop the university’s first few technologies used in the school.

  • 2000-2002

    Conducted seminars for graduating classes in the school; Started developing prototypes for small clients and giving supplementary prototype development assistance to engineering students which led to his almost-a-hundred prototypes developed as a freelancer over the next years.

  • 2002-2003

    Co-Founded DevX Integrated System Solutions; Taught a computer course in a local university;  Initial efforts of putting up Devsmith (a free learning open-community that conducts skills training sessions) comprised of local and foreign engineering students, professionals, employed and skilled individuals.

  • 2003-2006

    Became the Director of Ingenuity, Research & Development Department of a Cinema Technology company

  • 2006

    Protodev Information Technology Solutions became an officially registered company having bigger projects one after the other, from both local & international market, and a growing team of creative designers and bright developers.
